

Before I
started my personal training with Roger Stewart in San
Diego, I was a size 12 and weighed 200lbs.. I was so depressed, I ate
fast food and chocolate everyday. Disgusted with myself, I knew I had to
make a change in my lifestyle. I invested in some personal training
sessions. At first we started out slow, 1-2 x week...and eventually
worked my way up to 5 x week. After working with Roger, my weight loss
is 57lbs.! (which is where i set the goal for myself.) And I have been
keeping it there! I am now fitting into my size 6 again! my body fat %
has dropped 19% ! I am much happier now, and when I look into the mirror,
I like what I see! I now have lots more energy, so I can now do cardio 4 x week
and weight train 5 x week, meeting with Roger when i need that extra push, or if I feel I
have reached a sticking point. The most important thing I have learned is not to compare
myself to anyone else, (Roger helps me feel comfortable with who I am.) And not to give
up...ever! Thank you Roger!!

"I started taking the La Jolla Gravity program in August 2010. After
my first class, I was hooked. I started with 15 classes and quickly switched to
the twice a week plan. I was immediately
impressed with how challenging yet fun the classes are. Gravity has helped to
tone my entire body – my arms, back, abs, and legs have never felt this great!
It is amazing how much stronger I have become. When I first started, I could
barely do 10 push-ups. In one 45-minute class, our challenge was to do 100 and

"I've been out of shape for the longest time and I'm so happy I found Zenergy Fitness and Kasey!
Being
active was never an issue but when I started picking up injuries frequently I
got worried. And when one such injury made me stop my marathon training in the
middle I decided it was time to get a professional trainer.
I met with Kasey at Zenergy, and her very first workout for me made me so sore that part of me wondered what I
have got myself into but on the other hand the energy and enthusiasm she had
made me think what might be in store for me the next time around. She is always
cheerful and up to some antics but when it comes down to business she is a true
professional and there are no two ways about it. She is very insistent on form
and technique which makes the workouts that much more challenging.
Within a few sessions which included strength training, gravity workouts and
plyometrics she made me realize what I needed to do different to avoid picking
up injuries and gave me enough confidence that I am on the road to recovery so
I went ahead and registered for the San Diego Rock n Roll marathon.
She was very accommodating with my running schedule and designed workouts which
complement my running rather than hinder it. Looking at her you get a sense of
feeling that she is always coming up with new workouts to challenge you which
in turn made her sessions that much more interesting!
The running schedule was hard, her training was harder but when I crossed the
finished line I realized it was all worth it and I would not have done anything
different. When I go ahead and say that I couldn’t have done it without Kasey
it is definitely an understatement!
After working out with Kasey I feel workouts have to be hard and challenging to
reap any benefits from them but at the same time you should enjoy what you are
doing and that is where I think Kasey excels, she seems to have figured out how
to push people to their maximum limit but at the same time retain the fun
aspect of working out.
